On June 6, Tracy Hon of Chico Boxer Rescue in California, was nearly killed after being attacked and mauled by one of her rescue dogs. Tracy, who for nearly two decades has worked tirelessly to rescue Boxers, was providing hospice care to an American Bulldog mix that had advanced cancer - a dog no one else would take. The dog shredded both Tracy's legs and one arm. Tracy's trachea was completely severed and half her face was mauled as well. As you can imagine, this is a devastating and life-altering event.
Tracy is self-employed and has no medical insurance or disability insurance. ALL proceeds from this raffle will be deposited in a special medical fund established at Bank of America to help Tracy with the enormous medical expenses she will face.
This Danbury Mint Boxer Stained Glass Clock was designed by Simon Mendez. The decorative wall clock features four interchangeable "seasonal" stained glass panels that are lit from behind. Simply change the panels as the seasons change! Clock is driven by an accurate quartz movement powered by one AA battery. Lights are powered by AA batteries or a UL-listed AC adapter (batteries and AC adapter included). The clock is 18 1/2 inches high.
Drawing for the Danbury Mint Boxer Clock will be July 15, 2007 and a clerk at the Newberry, FL Post Office will draw the winning ticket.
The BRF Board of Directors would like to thank Debbie Cauble who donated the clock to the BRF and enthusiastically agreed to put it to this use.
